Gerardo Davila

Gerardo Davila was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico and grew up in Garland, Tx. He's 1st generation, the oldest of five children and the first of his family to become an actor in the United States. In his late teens he applied his music background and formed a rap group called Latin Royalty that performed in around the Dallas scene. He later attended the University of North Texas studying Radio-TV-Film, subsequently giving up his musical aspirations as a young adult and began his acting career at the age of 29 jumping right into theatre at Teatro Dallas. In 2004 he joined acting group Class Act Dallas, has since been training there weekly and attributes his success to consistent training, being bilingual and the support of his peers. In the Fall of 2019, he was accepted and attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. Over the last 15 years through present he consistently books national and regional commercials, spokesperson roles, print ads, corporate training, and voiceover for radio and video games. He has appeared in many Network TV Shows such as The Purge, Queen of The South, SIX and The Vampire Diaries.
