He grew up in London,studied music and drama,joined the National Youth Theater when he was 15,acted in the West End,Paris and Holland. Won a scholarship and studied at Trinity College of Music in London.came to the States in 1965 and pursued a music career having a number one record in 1969 with the band Me and Dem Guys who were inducted into the Michigan Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009.
