Having been born and raised in Park Ridge, Illinois , Mark was drawn to musical theater and drama in high school and was voted best actor in his class. After an undergraduate education in economics at Michigan State, he embarked on a career in banking and real estate finance while helping raise a family. Once an empty nester, Mark was accidentally reintroduced to musical theater and stage which led to a love of film and TV acting.
