Thiago is an Actor born in the countryside of Sao Paulo- Brazil. Growing up Thiago started out acting in a myriad of theatre productions, where the young actor worked in handpicked plays by renowned playwrights as Sam Sheperd, Tennessee Williams, Henrik Ibsen and Shakespeare. His early start in theatre granted the actor plenty of nominations for best actor such as for the role of Ivan Vassilievic in the play "A Marriage Proposal" by Anton Checkov (2005). The 10 years of stage acting led the actor to the world of filmmaking, where Stechinni plunged into Stanislavski's method of acting and the great influences of the Actor Studio such as De Niro, Brando, Lee Strasberg and Pacino. Having a martial arts background on Karate and Kung Fu allowed Thiago to star as the antagosist role of Master Humberto in the worldwide nominee in festivals in Germany, South-Africa, Brazil, USA, Canada and award winning short-film "O Amuleto do Dragão" (2013) produced by the largest Brazilian Studio in South America O2 Filmes. The experience led to a partnership with fight choreographers, producers and cast, to corageously engage in his first short film as a co-producer, fight choreographer and lead actor "A Lição" (2016) produced by Forasteiro Filmes in Sao Paulo Brazil. Thiago has been invited to work in two English-Spoken feature films, the horror/thriller production "Rio Urban Legend" playing the role of Chris (2017) with award winning filmmaker Roberto Jabor, who is also in charge of the 2018 horror/mystery/thriller "The Thirst of Christ" where Thiago Stechinni portrays the lead role Gestas. - IMDb Mini Biography By: EWP Films
