Mark Atkin

Mark is a film and TV actor, he is known for his character "Ketkrókur", a dark elf in the movie "Krampus". His career began as the scale acting and stunt double for "Thorin Oakenshield" played by Richard Armitage in "The Hobbit" trilogy. He then graduated with a Bachelor of Performing Arts from Te Ahaha NZ Institute of Creativity, Wellington in 2016. His theatre debut was as "Krapp" in Samuel Beckett's "Krapps Last Tape" in Wellington, before appearing in Dexter Fletcher's "Rocketman" and the TV series "Young Offenders" and "The Brigade". An accomplished creature performer, Mark is also a member of both the New Zealand and Irish Stunt Guilds.
