Ilaria Malvezzi

Ilaria Malvezzi was born in the country side of northern Italy. She is a former contemporary dancer. She studied and danced with internationally acclaimed Master Teachers and Choreographers, among which Mauro Astolfi, Loris Petrillo and particularly influential Choreographer/Dramaturge and lifelong friend Loredana Parrella. She moved to New York in 2005 where she continued her artistic pursuit and started to study acting and perform with Thomas G. Waites at TGW Actors Studio ("As You Like It", "The Taming of the Shrew"). In 2016 she graduated from the two years conservatory program at William Esper Studio in New York where she studied with Suzanne Esper. She has been dedicating her career to Independent Films , although she is always loyal to her first love, Theater and Physical Theater. In 2017 she wrote and produced two short films: the award winner "Unvoiced" Directed by her closest collaborator Jeremiah Kipp, and "Open" Directed by DT Sheridan, which will be ready for festival starting from Fall 2018. In spring 2018, she had the pleasure to work as TV correspondent for Podcast show "No Rest For The Weekend" by Jason Godbay, covering the press for Soho International Film Festival and NY TV Festival and more to come. In the summer of 2018 she joined the production team Beast Of The East Production LLC .
