Richard Patrick was born 1965 in Santa Ana California as Richard Patrick Gillespie. His Father James H. Gillespie, a banker and his mother Jacqueline M. Kravick divorced when he was 16. Both remarried soon after. His Father and Stepmother, Connie Gillespie are still married to this day. He began his acting career in 1982 when he was 17 appearing in many Movies and TV shows. In 1985 he earned his SAG card for his appearance in St. Elmo's Fire, a scene that was later cut from the final project.
