According to Linda McQuade, the best moment of her life was when she got a concussion while playing tackle football. Wait...she plays tackle football? Yeah, Linda does, and she's pretty dang good at it. Despite being named All-American for the 2017, 2018, and 2019 seasons, playing internationally in Canada, and being a part of the Hall of Fame 2019 West Coast team, she still believes the best thing that happened to her was being run over by that 300 pound running back and getting concussed. Why? Because after that, Linda realized she could handle anything that life threw at her. She became fearless and took risks, like applying (and getting accepted into) UCLA after being told she never had a chance; walking up to the Super Bowl 50 MVP and introducing herself as "Linda McQuade: outside linebacker"; becoming a local stand-up comedian, with sets about boomers versus millennials at restaurants and why global warming is like your side-chick; taking up gymnastics and parkour so that she can do her own stunts; and writing her own TV shows about women's tackle football and the Greek gods in high school.
