Benjamin was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He is from a family of five. His brother is named Caleb and sister named Luciana. He father's name is Phillip and mother's name is Esther. Benjamin was a three sport athlete , growing up playing baseball, basketball, and football. Benjamin is known by family members as "Ben" or "Benny".
