Thomas Basso

At the age of 56, Tom launched his acting career with i71 Movies a Columbus, Ohio movie production company. Tom was cast as Special Agent Dillon in a supporting role for the companies first feature film, Dark Iris, available on Amazon Prime. During the filming of Dark Iris, Tom became a consultant for the production company choreographing fight scenes and providing firearms and tactical skills expertise. Tom was also cast in a short movie called Code 207 playing the role of a dirty undercover cop and Greco Lawless in a short trailer for the TV series St. Gabriel. Tom was born in Steubenville, Ohio and raised in Mingo Junction, Ohio, a small town situated in the Ohio Valley along the Ohio River. Tom worked as a Deputy Sheriff for approximately four years before relocating to central Ohio to pursue a career in Law Enforcement. In a short period of time Tom was promoted to Sergeant and subsequently Lieutenant. He implemented and commanded the cities first SWAT team which went on to win numerous awards. During this time, Tom attended Franklin University where he studied Organizational Leadership and attended the National FBI Academy in Quantico, VA. Tom won numerous awards during his 33 + years in law enforcement including officer of the Year and Supervisor of the Year. Tom pursued other avenues to better himself becoming a certified personal trainer and running a successful personal training business. He won numerous bodybuilding Championships and his Pro Card in Drug-Free bodybuilding. Shortly after, Tom earned his black belt in American Aikido and Fighting Arts and is a highly trained and skilled firearms instructor.
