Melissa Wiehl

Melissa Wiehl is an American actress, born and raised in Virginia, she is the third of 4 siblings, two older brothers and a younger sister. She is of German, Greek and English ancestry. Her parents are both extremely talented, her mother was a teacher, writer and artist before passing away in 2012. Her father retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, served his country in the marine core and is the sole proprietor of Williams Racing. Wiehl started drama performances at a very young age in and around her hometown in Virginia. Before transitioning into a working actress, Melissa studied Early Childhood Development and Child Psychology. While teaching, raising her two sons and training she continued to pursue her dream to become a professional working actress. Melissa launched her career by appearing in 8 different episodes on The Discovery Channel for The FBI Files, Diagnosis Unknown and The New Detectives landing several spots as the Lead Medical Examiner. She has been on set with Topher Grace, Luke Wilson, Sarah Chalke, Richard Tyson and Lori Petty. She has landed lead roles in feature films, indie films, short films, recurring roles, commercials, national campaigns and print work. When it comes to acting, Melissa believes there is always something new to learn about one's self, there are many levels to each of us and circumstances are always changing.
