In his most notable and first leading role, Curtis Hamilton portrayed Dr. Dre in the award-winning film Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge, & Michel'le. He followed it up with the stellar emotional portrayal of Steve in the true crime movie In Broad Daylight. Hamilton next tackled civil rights activist Andrew Young in the film Charming the Hearts of Men. He is a recurring character on Insecure and can soon be seen in Oprah's new show The Kings of Napa. Born in Italy and raised in Paducah, Kentucky, Hamilton was the youngest of five.
