Lukas Whiting was born in 1992 in North Sydney, Australia. Whilst completing a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Film and English from the University of Sydney he trained for several years in the Meisner technique in Redfern, Sydney. In 2015 he starred in the acclaimed short film Kill Your Sons and before completing his training landed a core role on New Zealand's most watched TV show, Shortland Street, playing Finn Warner, estranged son to main character and NZ icon, Chris Warner. He was to perform this role for close to three years.
