Troy Mundle was born and raised in Point-à-la-Croix, Québec. The eldest son of Doreen Mailloux, a kindergarten teacher, and Frederick Mundle, an adult education teacher. Troy recently won a Best Actor award and garnered a nomination for Best Male Performance at the 2019 Leo Awards for his performance in Exhibit Man (2019). Troy plays the film's protagonist, Berry Leetch, a police forensic photographer in the small town of Battleford where a violent vigilante is on the loose. The film has been Internationally screened and has won 7 awards and over 20 nominations. Some of Troy's recent credits include History's new drama Project Blue Book (2019), the new Stephen King Mini-Series on CBS All Access The Stand (2020), ABC's A Million Little Things (2018), CW's DC's Legends of Tomorrow (2016) and The Detour (2016) on TBS. While in Toronto, he booked several roles including Showtime's TV hit Queer as Folk and commercials such as Lays potato chips with Mark Messier and RBC Olympic Hockey Tribute as a hockey player. In Toronto, he studied acting at Equity Showcase Theatre, the Pro Actor's Lab, and Meisner with John Riven. In 2013 he created, wrote, produced, directed, and acted in the award-winning comedy Web series called Single & Dating in Vancouver (2013). In 2016 the web series won 4 wards at the Austin Web Fest including a Best Lead Actor award for Troy, along with Best Cinematography, Best Comedy and Best Overall Series. These awards qualified the series and Troy to attend the prestigious Marseille Web Fest in 2016.
