Cameron Jones is a New Zealand actor. He began his training at Toi Whakaari; NZ Drama School, where he studied unconventional forms of the art that included; mask, clown, commedia dell'arte, and devising. After completing three years studying there, he moved to LA to study at the Stella Adler Academy in Hollywood, to develop a realistic approach to building characters. After graduation, Cameron worked back home in New Zealand on local TV and film. This included core cast in the hospital drama 'Shortland Street' and two local drama TV movies. Cameron then found himself back in Los Angeles, where he played a supporting lead in the Dolly Parton biopic, 'Dolly Parton's Christmas Of Many Colors; Circle Of Love'. The TV film was nominated for an Emmy. Cameron created a one man show in 2017, which won awards in the Hollywood Fringe Festival, and has gone on to tour back in NZ. Growing up in provincial New Zealand has gifted him a life outdoors and many tangible skills, including horse riding, tramping, surfing, fishing, and diving. Cameron is also an experienced mixed martial artist.
