Fiona is one of the founding filmmakers of Rip Roarer Productions (2017), working alongside founding filmmaker Frank J. Dion in writing, directing, composing and producing their own films. Raised in Whittier, she is a first-generation American citizen; her father, born in Bombay, India, and her mother in Letchworth, England, both immigrated to America in the early 60's. Fiona and her production company are working up to producing a full-length feature written by Fiona about her grandfather's life in Ireland. Her grandfather is the subject of a book: "District Inspector John A. Kearney of the Royal Irish Constabulary" written by Donal J. O'Sullivan, which offers details with historical accuracy on her grandfather's life from early childhood through the "Troubled" times in Ireland, while working for the crown as an RIC officer, vainly trying to secure the escape of Sir Roger Casement (who stayed at the family home In Ireland, noting Sir Casement also mentions Fiona's grandfather in his published writings), working with Michael Collins (of which correspondence exists from Michael Collins to her grandfather), and at the same time, risking his life to help save his own people. Fiona holds an undergraduate degree in Film and Broadcast Journalism from California State University - Los Angeles (1993) and also earned a Master's Degree in Education from California State University - Northridge (2004). - IMDb Mini Biography By: Leo Edmunds
