Valerie Loo is a US-based, Singaporean actress. She was born and raised in Singapore before moving to Phoenix, Arizona in 2013, where she attended Arizona State University. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry and did oncology research at the ASU Institute of Biodesign. Prior to moving to the US, Valerie took part in Season 4 of a nationally televised singing competition in Singapore, 'Campus Superstar', and finished at 7th place during the Live Shows. While attending graduate school in 2018, she was scouted by a local modeling agency in Phoenix, which led her to move to Los Angeles in 2019. In October 2020, she starred alongside singer, Pink Sweats, as the female lead in his Music Video for the song 'At My Worst', which reached global acclaim with over 100M views. In 2021, she made her first television appearance when she was cast in a Recurring Guest Star role as 'Nicole' in Ryan Murphy's HULU Anthology Series, 'American Horror Stories'. The following year, she was selected to be a part of the Actor Ensemble for the 2022 Sundance Institute Directors Lab, where she worked with Director Yuan Yuan on her feature 'Late Spring', that she was developing during the Lab. Valerie will next be seen starring in the upcoming 2023 reboot of the critically-acclaimed 2014 genre film, 'Last Shift', as well as 'Criminal Minds: Evolution' on Paramount+.
