Luna Steeples is an outstanding young performer with a spunky, outgoing, and fearless personality and maturity beyond her years. Born in Downtown Los Angeles to parents who are actors and filmmakers themselves, Luna was on sets before she could walk. At age 4 she told her parents she wanted to be an actor/director after falling in love with the amazing energy and people in the industry. Luna's parents have been by far her greatest influence. Her mother Paola Menacho is from Bolivia, and her father Eddie Steeples is from St. Louis, Missouri. Luna grew up speaking both English and Spanish and celebrating her family's diversity. Big on cultural preservation, her close-knit family has massive family gatherings featuring traditional dishes, music, dancing, and folklore. They also enjoy going to park concerts, art galleries, and traveling. Luna has played drums and is active in sports such as flag football, golf, and dance. She enjoys painting and making jewelry. Her favorite school subjects are Math and Science, and her friends describe her as funny, adventurous, edgy and "just chill." Luna's family is philanthropic and supports St. Jude Children's Hospital and The Alexandria House for Women and Children, which helps create spaces, jobs, and friendships where all people can thrive.
