Imola Gáspár is a Romanian-born, Hungarian actress based in London. After graduating from the Academy of Drama and Film, she had an extensive film and theatre career. She played at the National Theatre in Romania before moving to Hungary in 1993 to work at the National Theatre in Budapest. In 2008 she settled in London. She proved a rich expression of artistic emotions in lyrical and dramatic performances, playing characters such as Lady Milford from Friedrich Schiller's Intrigue and Love, Nastia from Maxim Gorki's Night Asylum, Bride from Garcia Lorca's Blood Wedding and Gertrude from Hamlet by William Shakespeare. She also starred in over 50 films in Europe and America. She has worked with leading directors such as Denis Villeneuve, Andrzej Wajda, Istvan Szabo, Nicolae Margineanu, and Viktor I Frunza.
