Sherryl Despres began her acting and modeling career as a child in her native state of California. After being "discovered" in a school play in a suburb of L.A. she was granted scholarships to study acting, which led to her being cast in educational films. She later moved to Michigan and continued acting in numerous stage plays, industrial films, commercials and movies. She has twice been nominated as "best supporting actress" in a play, and won once. Projects she participated in have won an Emmy and numerous film festival awards.
