John Venüs

John Venüs is an American Actor, Artist, Athlete, Model, Musician, Singer, Rapper, Producer, Photographer, Writer, Ethical Vegan and Positive Mindset Advocate born on May 12, 1993. Growing up in Queens, New York he was exposed to a wide variety of art, music and culture and was naturally drawn to the magical world of the arts. His Grandfather was an Italian Chef and one of his best friends as well as an amazing father figure growing up. He played a major role in his life, taking him on many fun adventures in and around the city and also out into nature and the parks. Telling of his crazy and hilarious life stories growing up in Hells Kitchen, New York and instilling timeless values of "the simple things" in life such as nature, companionship, classic music and cinema, a home cooked meal, a good laugh, a cold drink and the spirit of adventure into the very heart of "Baby John." His grace will always live on in our heart and souls." Being an only child, John spent a decent amount of time by himself and his imagination was always very active. That being said, he was also very social and had an innate need to play outside with friends and burn up his seemingly infinite energy. Naturally, he found passion in sports and soon enough, he fell in love with basketball. He quickly joined his elementary schools team; although eventually, he found love for skateboarding and it changed his life in ways he could not yet imagine. In middle school he joined the orchestra and played the trumpet for three years, earning silver at NYSSMA 2007. He went on to a specialized high school for writing but transferred out after a year because he felt it was too constrictive of his potential. He went to a much more liberal and diverse Bayside High School where he took up art and later picked up guitar and began writing and performing songs with local musicians. After graduating high school in 2011, he studied Liberal Arts at CUNY QCC. Unsure of what he wanted to pursue, his grandfather encouraged him to do what he loves. "Do you know what you want to do?" his grandfather asked. "I want to study the arts but I'm conflicted because of the common perception of the starving artist," replied John. "Just think about what you really love doing and don't stop doing it until you can't." Next semester he switched his major to "Music Production" but also taking up some art and design classes, as well as English, dance and public speaking classes. He was a bit lost after graduation and pursued a career in modeling and had some minor success but he felt that world was too shallow and didn't fulfill his soul purpose. Now he is more focused than ever and is committed to working on meaningful projects that have the potential to captivate and inspire others positively. He has already rubbed shoulders and worked alongside some of the best names in the world and is constantly working towards achieving greatness at an all encompassing level.
