Born in Dallas, Tx, Jackson started acting when he was eight years old, playing "Mike TV" in a community theatre production of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory." He went on to study acting in college at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. After graduation in 2008, he was accepted into UCLA's school of Theatre, Film, and Television where he received his MFA in acting in 2011. Jackson moved around a lot as a child; going from Dallas, Tx to Birmingham, Mi, eventually ending up in California: first in Humboldt County then moving to Danville, California for junior high and high school. Midway through high school, due to his mother's career change, Jackson moved briefly to Colorado Springs, then six months later to Virginia, where he finished high school and went to college. Acting has always been in Jackson's blood. His grandfather is Marshall Thompson, known for such films as "Battleground," and "To Hell and Back," and for starring in the hit series "Dak Tari." His great uncle is Richard Long, also appearing in films but perhaps best known for playing Jarrod Barkley on "The Big Valley" and Professor Everett on "Nanny and the Professor." - IMDb Mini Biography By: Jackson Thompson
