If you meet Amy you will quickly see that she is one of a kind! She is proof that great things come in small packages. A kind soul that loves to laugh, and loves helping others when she isn't trying to prank them! She is always fun and never meets a stranger, yet polished and professional when on set. Amy is humble and plays each role as if it is the most important role on the set. This is because she understands that it takes so many working parts to make film successful. Even as a stand-in, film double, or background role, she works hard to stand out as if the star principal role. People often tell her that "they cannot wait to see her sitcom", "why isn't there a camera following you", or "you need to do stand-up", because she is always making people laugh. Even after the super long days on set as the stand-in and double for Dr. Graham on Godzilla, she doesn't complain and does what she can to keep everyone in good spirits. Amy Carver Haynes was born and raised as a southern belle in Columbus, Georgia. She has always loved competition and perfecting her craft. As a young child she traveled the country as competitive speed skater, where she won several national championship. As she entered the high school years she competed in gymnastics and was a competition cheerleader. She was widely known in the cheerleading arena, and went on to become runner up for "Georgia Cheerleader of the Year" in 1998, and part of the Columbus State University Division II National Championship Team in 1999. She also was a competitive weight lifter and won 2 Iron man competitions, despite being half the size of most the other competitors. Amy did this as well as excelled in her local theater program. Amy then went on to become the Director of Events for the Atlanta area for Hawaiian Tropic Promotions, and was an event emcee/host as well as a bikini and fitness model as well. She traveled the country with Hawaiian Tropic Promo teams, and eventually started her own promo company. She was invited by Baywatch to come to L.A. to audition to be a character on the show. However, being so young she was not comfortable living so far from her family back in Georgia. Since so much of Hollywood has moved to Atlanta, she feels it's fate to be in the film industry. Amy shares her time in Atlanta and Columbus, GA. She has an amazing 9 year old son with Autism Spectrum Disorder, so she has spent the last several years doing everything possible to help him thrive...and he is doing wonderful now, breaking all expectations set for him which allows her to be able to dive head first into her God given gift as an actress. Amy and her husband Brandon have opened several bars and restaurants in the last 10 years.
