Courtney Blythe Turk is an actress and producer of Greek and Native American descent. She grew up a gymnast and an athlete in the small town of Monroeville, Alabama. She attended Auburn University with a major in Mass Communications, concentration in sports broadcasting, and a Theater minor. Courtney's career in entertainment was sparked when she landed a role as co-host of the sports travel show Fantactics in 2011. Since then, she has appeared in numerous roles on both film and television, such as VH1's Hit the Floor and a starring role in both Jaunt VR's Flesh and Bone and the feature film Black Water. In 2015, singer and songwriter Michael Warren, originally signed with Atlantic Records, discovered Courtney's voice and brought her into the studio. Not too long after, he released a "country-folk" inspired EP featuring her on five songs. They continued working in the studio together gaining interest in managerial support from other talents such as Mike Einzeger of Incubus. Courtney earned her first producing role with the feature film The Ticket starring Malin Akerman, Dan Stevens and Oliver Platt. Both her passion and her experience working behind the camera on the film led her to later produce the thriller Assassination Nation starring Bella Thorne, Suki Waterhouse, and Bill Skarsgard, To the Bone starring Keanu Reeves and Lily Collins, and the award winning documentary The Last Animals. She is in development on many other productions, including a police drama based on true events with Hidden Empire (Meet the Blacks, Traffik) and a hallucinatory thriller with Terry Rossio (Pirates of the Caribbean) and Bill Marsilii (Deja Vu). - IMDb Mini Biography By: Lead Alliance Media Group
