Talented and beloved Estonian actress Mirtel Pohla was born in January 28th 1982 in Tartu, Estonia. She is best known for her work in television and theatre. After graduating High School she went to study Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre's Higher Theatre School which she graduated in 2004. Afetr graduating she worked in Estonian Drama Theatre in 2004-2006. In 2003 she got part in soap opera Kodu keset linna (2003) where she played best friend of main character's step daughter. After 2004 Mirtel quit the show just to return in 2007. In 2005 she played Ilge, a main character's love, in independent film Malev (2005). In 2006 she got part into another TV-series Kelgukoerad (2006) where she played Paula in first season. In 2007 came two popular movies Jan Uuspõld läheb Tartusse (2007) and Autumn Ball (Sügisball (2007)).
