Richard King was born in Tampa, Florida and attended the University of South Florida graduating with a BFA in painting and film. Since 1985 he has worked in film sound design. Richard has been fortunate to work with such directors as Nicolas Roeg, M. Night Shyamalan, Robert Altman, Paul Thomas Anderson, William Friedkin, Peter Weir, Steven Spielberg, and Christopher Nolan.
