Julie Garcia-Briceno

Born Julia Garcia, to Sixto and Julia Garcia of Puerto Rico, the second to the youngest of eight children, Julie was raised in a small city just outside of Cleveland, Ohio. Shortly after graduating from high school and briefly attending Kent State University, her unquenchable desire to experience life and travel the world led her to a career as a commercial Flight Attendant for approximately 10 years. Travelling gave her a completely new perspective on life - for the first time, she was able to see what existed beyond her small town existence and it simply made her thirst for so much more. Julie always had her eyes on moving West and when she was afforded the opportunity to transition to flying on private charter jets for high-profile clients, Hollywood A-List celebrities and a former U.S. President, she leapt at the chance to expand her horizons and loved every minute of this experience. As a result of this private chartering stint, she was able to make the move to the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas, where she currently resides with her husband of eight years who between them have 3 grown children. Always having an underlying yearning to try her hand at acting, she sought out coaching classes to study the craft and to her surprise quickly began booking print work, local TV commercials and now being offered acting opportunities in film and television. Deeply rooted in her heart she has always felt she was destined to be on the silver screen, and though she has a long way to go, just the mere fact that this dream is finally materializing at all, has her questioning herself with "Is this really happening to me?" and the answer is, 'yes, it most certainly is'.... Julie has often jokingly referred to herself as the Latina 'Betty White' (not in the comedic sense), but in her underlying hopefulness that the same type of longevity that has been afforded to Ms. White's career will also be bestowed upon her someday.
