Johnny Ray Gibbs, American Actor, Producer, Director, Author, and Songwriter, Born on April 14, 1966 in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, to Mavis Kathleen Gibbs (Elder), a retired waitress, and John Wayne Gibbs, an Air Force veteran and salesman. Johnny attended Henry Grady high school in Atlanta and Sequoyah high school in Doraville, Georgia, and briefly attended Pike County high school in Zebulon, Georgia where he played baseball. Johnny quit school during his sophomore year shortly after his father died and moved to Ft. Lauderdale Florida. At the age of 18, Johnny joined a local talent agent in Ft. Lauderdale after being inspired to become an actor while participating as background work in the movies, Spring Break (1983), and Where the Boys are (1984), as well as several local music videos for MTV. In 1988 Johnny was involved in a one car accident that nearly cost him his life. He spent months in ICU in a drug induced coma. The accident left him homeless. In 1989 Johnny moved to Houston, Texas. There he completed his education at San Jacinto college. In 1993 he became a Master Electrician. In 2015 Johnny began studying acting again when he was offered several role's as a cowboy in the upcoming independent western films, Grace, Destiny and No man's Land.
