Kieran was born in Geelong, Australia, before moving to New Zealand when he was 2 years old. His family moved multiple times due to his fathers profession as a Marine Biologist. He spent most of his teenage years living in Tasmania on a small winery on the Tamar River. A highly skilled athlete, Kieran traveled across Australia playing Australian Rules Football before being accepted into the Howard Fine Acting Studio's Full time program based in Melbourne, Australia.
