Clarissa Kiste is a Brazilian actress who stars in Aly Muritiba's Ferrugem at 2018's Sundance Film Festival. This is her second turn at Sundance, having previously appeared in the World Dramatic Competition in Murilo Pasta's Carmo. Clarissa is a longtime collaborator of directors Juliana Rojas & Marco Dutra, starring in their Cannes award-winning short film The White Sheet and their Cannes Un Certain Regard feature, Hard Labor. She also worked with Dutra on the HBO series El Hipnotizador in the role of Eva, alongside Latin American acting greats Leonardo Sbaraglia, Daniel Hendler and Darío Grandinetti. Additional TV roles include the protagonist of Fox's 9MM, the Netflix hit 3%, and Universal's 171. In theatre, she was most recently seen in Lolita Pille's Hell, directed by Academy Award nominee Hector Babenco, and Haruki Murakami's The Elephant Vanishes, directed by Monique Gardenberg.
