Christian Ackerman

Christian Ackerman is a Los Angeles-based producer, writer, and director. He began his career as a production assistant at The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, during which, he produced and co-directed the feature documentary Elwood Carlisle Superstar. Following his passion for horror, he went on to produce/line produce the features Dead and Gone, Restoration, Bethany, Mistress Hunter, Stalked By My Doctor: Patient's Revenge, Family Vanished, and 2 Jennifer. In 2016, he produced two music videos for the metal band Slayer. As a director, Christian's short films have won over 30 film festival awards with 50+ nominations. In May 2018, his new production and publishing company, Black Vortex Cinema, released a book of 48 essays by horror creators entitled My Favorite Horror Movie. Their first production, Our Next Caller (starring Eric Roberts) will begin its film festival run in the spring. 2019 will see the release of five of his 2018 feature film productions, including Deadly Reunion, a murder-mystery he wrote. - IMDb Mini Biography By: -
