Douglas Andrew William Johnstone

Douglas Johnstone was born & raised in Bishop Auckland, County Durham, England, to Muriel (Melvin) & Denis "Denny" Johnstone, both worked in the fashion/textile industry in Aberdeen, Scotland. In the 1960's, they moved south to County Durham to find further work. He is the youngest of seven, having one brother & five sisters. Both parents were Scottish, giving a 100% Scottish lineage. Douglas's recreational time whilst growing up consisted of football, cricket & Taekwondo.
