Katy Bodenhamer is an actress and writer who is gradually making a name for herself in the entertainment business. She was born Kathryn Lynn Bodenhamer in the small town of Hershey, NE, to Nancy (Kellogg), a lab technician, and Richard Bodenhamer Jr., a farmer and rancher. Bodenhamer began performing at an early age, partaking in Spring Tea's and Christmas programs for the local farmers and their wives at the one-room schoolhouse she attended. Her first "big" role was in Kindergarten where she played the "lead" role of the mute Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Despite being mute and not having any lines, she found a home on stage. Bodenhamer squeezed in some acting around a busy athletic schedule in high school (volleyball warm-up included Mary Katherine Gallagher skits) , then in college as a freshman she landed a lead role in the university's theatrical performance of Lend Me A Tenor. This role earned her a Best Actress invitation to the national Irene Ryan competition. She also gained recognition in Community Theater, most noted for playing Carnelle in The Miss Firecracker Contest. Other adventures she has mentioned are selling books door-to-door in Rhode Island, attending art school in San Francisco and in Miami, and interning as an art director in Dubai UAE. Now settled in Los Angeles, Bodenhamer is focusing on fully developing her acting and writing career, even landing roles portraying non-mute characters these days. - IMDb Mini Biography By: Anonymous
