A native of Aliquippa Pennsylvania, Karen Abercrombie is an actress, singer-songwriter and a Parents' Choice Award winning storyteller. She recently received a Movieguide Grace Award and a Dove Award for her performance in the Kendrick Brothers film, War Room, where she played the spicy, 80 year old prayer warrior, Miss Clara. Karen has a list of TV, film and stage credits to her name. She recently formed her own production company, Earth Mother Entertainment, where she is creating and producing film and television projects.
