Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Michael began acting in the 6th grade in the play Oklahoma. He was always interested in the performing arts. He sings and plays guitar and was involved with plays, choirs and bands throughout high school. He appeared to be leaning toward a career in the music industry although never shutting the door on musical theater and acting. He started MAB Media Group, a music consulting business, to educate and help other artists achieve their goals. His business started taking off. The turning point to pursue acting happened when one of the artist he represents was approached by Italian Director Valerio Zanoli about writing the theme song for the movie All You Can Dream. Michael was offered a small extra role as a judge in the movie. The experience re-ignited his passion for acting. He has been quite busy ever since. A highlight in his career was the independent film Captain Buffalo. He was cast in a key supporting role which required singing and acting. It was a play that was filmed for broadcast.
