Kasra Shokravi was born in Bandar Abbas, Iran. In 1990, he and his family decided to move to America. Growing up in America, Kasra found himself surrounded by two things: his Persian culture rich with color and design, and photography. However, he true passion laid in dinosaurs. This lead him to a screening of Spielberg's Jurassic Park. Soon enough he found himself at the movies time and time again. Movies eventually turned into a passion and he decided to pursue filmmaking in college, opting to specify in cinematography, following in line with his cultures rich colors and growing up around cameras.
