Liv Southard Liv was born in Dallas, Texas, to a Swedish mother and American father. Liv began acting in workshops and participated in youth theater in Phoenix. She was a member of a touring competition cheer/stunt team for 3 years as a flyer, before dedicating herself full time to dance for 4 years at Centrestage Studios. While in LA, she has studied with Cynthia Bain, Joey Paul Jensen, LynnAnne Zager and Mea Hack. Her roles have included lead roles in the horror short film VISIONS and the web series HORROR HAIKU (Seraph Films), co-star on the TV series TWIST OF FATE (The Weather Channel), and supporting roles in the features GOOD ENOUGH (2016), NIGHTMARE GALLERY (2018) and EMINENCE HILL (2019). In the feature film BREAKING LEGS (2015), a coming of age, dance drama/comedy, Liv both acted and danced. For her performance she won the Young Artist Award for Best Leading Young Actress in a Feature Film (14-21), won Best Actress in a Feature Film at the Cinema New York Film Festival 2016, was nominated for a Young Entertainer Award for Best Performance by a Actress in an Independent Feature Film, and along with the cast won the Young Entertainer Award for Best Ensemble Cast in a Feature Film. She was nominated for a Young Actors Award in 2014 for Best Actress in a Short Film for her work on THE CURSE OF THE UN-KISSABLE KID. Her short film, TUESDAY, by Oscar Lalo, has been in 43 festivals world-wide winning multiple awards, including Best Short Film at Cannes, American Pavilion Emerging Artists 2014.
