Alexis Koetting

Alexis was born in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. She started acting at a young age in community theatre and went on to receive a BFA - Specialization in Theatre Performance from Concordia University in Montreal. Alexis has been working professionally since her graduation in 1995. She was a company member of the renowned Stratford Festival during the 1997 and 1998 seasons and has played stages throughout Canada, finally landing in St. John's, Newfoundland in 2015 where she has found a home with Perchance Theatre at Cupids, Newfoundland's only classical, outdoor theatre company. Alexis is also the author of the Bella James mystery series. Her first novel, 'Encore' was published in 2015 and was shortlisted for both the 2016 Arthur Ellis and Bony Blithe awards. The sequel, 'Triple Threat' was published in February 2018.
