Kelli Berglund, born February 9, 1996, is a highly versatile actress lending herself to diverse roles in both comedy and drama. Berglund will star in the upcoming original comedy series, "Now Apocalypse" from creator/executive producer Gregg Araki and Steven Soderbergh. Co-written by Araki, who also directs, "Now Apocalypse" is a 10-episode surreal, coming-of-age comedy that follows four friends who are on various quests pursuing love, sex and fame while navigating the strange and oftentimes bewildering city of Los Angeles. In addition to Berglund, the ensemble cast includes Avan Jogia, Beau Mirchoff, Roxane Mesquida and Tyler Posey. The highly anticipated series will premiere in 2019 on Starz. Berglund can also be seen in the lead role opposite Jake Busey and Nikki Blonsky in the indie horror feature "Ghost in the Graveyard" (Cellar Door Films), release date TBA. Additional television and film credits for Berglund include starring as Willadeene Parton in NBC's Emmy-nominated movie "Dolly Parton's Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love," and a supporting role in the indie flick "1 Night," opposite Anna Camp, Justin Chatwin and Isabelle Fuhrman. Additionally, Berglund has starred in two feature films for MarVista Entertainment including "Raising the Bar" and "Going for Gold" playing a competitive gymnast and cheerleader respectively, both of which showcased her vast athletic abilities. Berglund may be best known for her lead role as Bree Davenport from 2012-2016 on Disney XD's hit series "Lab Rats" and "Lab Rats: Elite Force." As a bionic teenager with lightning speed, Berglund quickly developed a loyal national and international fan base for her comedic portrayal of the tough, yet vulnerable and lovable character. While on "Lab Rats," Berglund also starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie "How to Build a Better Boy" opposite China Anne McClain, which also became a smash hit for the channel. Other recent credits include guest starring roles on NBC's "The Night Shift," Awesomeness TV's "Love Daily," Disney XD's "Kickin' It," and the animated series "Pickle and Peanut." On the theatre front, Berglund recently brought both her dancing and singing skills to the stage, starring as "Belle" in Pasadena Playhouse's featured winter production "Beauty and the Beast: A Christmas Rose." Produced by Lythgoe Family Panto, the play offered an updated version of the classic tale, featuring family-friendly magic with a comedic twist, dancing, contemporary music, and more. Off screen, Berglund has worked closely with the Audrey Hepburn C.A.R.E.S Team, in association with the Children's Hospital Los Angeles. The C.A.R.E.S Team is an organization that provides services for suspected victims of child abuse.
