Karen Valero was born in Caracas, Venezuela. She moved to the United States at the age of 15 and has lived in Atlanta, Georgia ever since. From a very young age, she showed great enthusiasm and talent for the arts: Theatre, Photography, Painting, Visual arts, and Acting! Modeling jobs led to commercials, which then turned into film auditions. Shortly after, Lets Stay Together (2012) and the popular television series, Orange is The New Black (2015), on Netflix, you can also see her in the movie, A Question of Faith (2017) Playing a significant role of texting and driving. This year she is working on My Brother's Keeper Feature Film(2019), White Glove, Purple Heart Feature Film (2020) which is based on a true story and the upcoming T.V Show The passage(2018) on Fox. Karen loves to travel with her husband Charles and has often visited National Parks photographing Landscapes and wild animals as well as competing in her photography club. She enjoys cooking, Traveling, working out, hiking, running with her dog,volunteering, riding her motorcycle just to name a few. But, above all, acting is her passion, and she sees it as an adventure that has just begun; she believes that the journey and the characters we create along the way will help us understand ourselves.
