Dash You was born under the name of Dae-sik You, and he also uses a stage name of Nam Yoon Ho in Korea. He was born in Seoul, South Korea. He moved to England at the age of 14. He graduated his High school and Undergraduate in England. After spending almost 8 years in England, he moved back to Seoul for his national service. He was discharged from Korean Army after 2 years of service. He moved to Los Angeles in the fall of 2009 for his MFA in Acting, in UCLA. He graduated UCLA in 2012.
