Hina Wada is a teenager living in Haido City, Tokyo, and studies at Haido High School since two years. She also practices karate and is the second best in her category, the first being Ran. She is interested in UFOs and aliens, believing in them. Shinichi first met her when he saw her fighting a purse snatcher in a busy street, although she already knew Ran long ago, since she is her self-declared "rival".
