Jeffrey Scott Basham is an American Stage and Screen Actor, Director, Producer and Comedian known for working on such hit TV shows as The young and the Restless, Modern Family, Comedy Central's Tosh.0 and on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. He appeared in two films released in 2017 - The screwball comedy 'How to be a Latin Lover' directed by Ken Marino - starring Eugenio Derbez and Salma Hayek, Rob Lowe, Kristin Bell and Raquel Welch and the dark comedy 'Sububicon' directed by George Clooney and starring Matt Damon, Jullianne Moore and Oscar Isaac, written by Clooney and The Cohen Brothers. After graduating California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Acting in 2013, Jeffrey Scott Basham hit the ground running, writing and producing stand up comedy and sketch comedy after a successful set at Laugh Factory in Hollywood and appearing in several television series and commercials. He also trains at The Groundlings School in Los Angeles. He has performed Stand Up throughout the US and on Broadway. In 2016, He directed the award winning comedy series "Riley". His father, William Wallace Basham, is a physician, musician and computer programmer. Jeffrey was named by his older sister, Ruthie who suggested it at age 5 to their parents.
