Dave Goshorn is a Special Effects Trainee and Carpenter who entered the industry as a Supporting Artist when he left the U.S. Air Force. Having grown up in the U.K. while stationed in North Oxfordshire with his Family who were serving in the U.S. Air Force, Dave developed a love for the film industry from seeing films like James Bond: Octopussy and The Fourth Protocol being filmed on base at RAF Upper Heyford, where he would later be a member of the cast of The Girl With All The Gifts. After joining the U.S. Air Force as an aircraft mechanic, Dave found himself stationed back in the U.K. and when he was medically discharged after 6 years, he decided to stay in the U.K. and pursue a career that would challenge him as much as the military had. With a broad technical experience, a love of the film industry and a passion for creating with wood, Dave is at home on set and in the workshops and always keen to develop a new skill. Having served in the armed forces and spending a year working as a Trainee Armourer, he is also comfortable, competent and safe with all manner of firearms including pistols, semi-automatic rifles, shot guns and assault rifles. When he's not on films, Dave works with a small team studying preserving Cold War military history and also doing carpentry projects for a small property firm. - IMDb Mini Biography By: Dave Goshorn
