Richa Shukla

Richa grew up in Northern California in an Indian-American family of engineers/doctors by day and musicians/performers by night. She started training in dance (Indian Classical Dance, Kathak, Bollywood, hip-hop, jazz) at the age of 5 and soon after began doing school plays, which is when she fell in love with acting. In 2006, her high school play was selected for performance at the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Festival (Scotland). This further sparked her passion to pursue a career in acting. Her mission as an artist is to bridge the gap between her Indian and American cultures and to shed light on the South Asian-American experience through her work, ultimately helping to create a more united and diversity-loving world for future generations.
