Javier Vazquez Jr., best known for his role in the acclaimed Warner Brothers feature film The Mule (2018) acting alongside Bradley Cooper, Michael Pena and Loren Dean, starring and directed by the great Clint Eastwood. Vazquez was also recently seen in roles for the hit tv series The Gifted as well as Macgyver. Vazquez's previous credits include, "Swamp Murders, Season 5 Episode 2" in which he played real-life detective Freddy Mares, and Carlos in Investigation Discovery's "Your Worst Nightmare Season 2 Episode 6." Vazquez earned a BA of Science from Buffalo State College where his acting career started. Javier was born in Buffalo, New York, to Miriam, an orderly for the Children's Hospital, and Javier Vazquez, a firefighter for the City of Buffalo. He is of Puerto Rican descent. Vazquez began his TV/film acting career with a supporting role in the Jackie Carpenter-produced film titled "Stand Your Ground" playing Jose Lerma. On his off time, Vazquez plays the conga drums, sings and writes romantic as well as faith-based music.
