Merik Tadros was born on April 15th 1983 in Chicago, Illinois, USA. After studying Theatre Arts and Cinema for one semester at the University of Iowa, he headed to Hollywood to study at The Groundlings Theatre as well as Stella Adler Academy of Acting's conservatory program. Steven Spielberg's Munich was his first professional on screen acting role portraying "Tony the Cowboy." Television credits include: NCIS, 24, CSI Miami, E-Ring, & Notes From The Underbelly. Merik was seen in 2009 starring opposite Harrison Ford and Cliff Curtis in writer-director Wayne Kramer's film Crossing Over, as well as the two part NCIS pilot spin-off titled Legend for NCIS: Los Angeles. His passion for filmmaking made its debut when Tadros wrote and directed his first short film The Bardo, which premiered September 28th 2007 at The New York International Independent Film and Video Festival. In January 2012 Merik wrote & directed Behind The Horror, a mockumentary dark comedy about the making of a horror film. The horror comedy was nominated for Best Film at Mockfest in 2012 as well as receiving an Honorable Mention. In 2013, Behind The Horror officially premiered at Atlantic City Cinefest, winning 3 awards. Best Comedy Horror, Best Actor Horror Danny Myers & Best Writer - Merik Tadros. He is now in development to adapt his first graphic novel River Jordan to the screen. World Revealed Ink published the book, now exclusively distributed in North America. The English version debuted at Chicago's C2E2 in the spring of 2011. The Arabic version debuted at the first Middle East Film & Comic Con in Dubai April 20 & 21st 2012.
