Michelle Vergara Moore is an Australian actor, best known for her roles as Chai Li Tivolli in The Time Of Our Lives, Angie 5 in Black & White & Sex and Joan in Side Effects. Michelle is married to fellow Australia actor, Toby Leonard Moore and lives in both Melbourne and New York City. Michelle was born in Melbourne, Australia, the daughter of José and Rustica Vergara, who immigrated from the Philippines in the 1970s. She is one of ten children. Michelle then auditioned for and was accepted into the two top drama schools in Australia; the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA) and the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). She chose to study at NIDA, moving to Sydney and completing her classical actor training, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Acting). Following graduation, Michelle co-starred in the independent Australian feature film Black & White & Sex directed by John Winter, who is best known for producing Rabbit-Proof Fence, Doing Time for Patsy Cline and Paperback Hero. Michelle played Angie 5 - one of eight actors who play the same character. Black & White & Sex had its Australian premiere at the 2011 Sydney Film Festival with its international premiere at the 41st International Film Festival Rotterdam.
