Born and raised in Toronto, Canada John discovered his passion and affinity for acting while in high school. There he wrote and created for the sake of entertaining fellow students and staff. John's acting career began shortly after university when he was hired to perform in The Second City's presentation of Tony'n'Tina's wedding, playing a multitude of characters over the course of 2 years. After starring in the well received indie films "The End of Silence" (2006) and "Sweet Karma" (2009) John began a shift from stage work to film and television.
