After his honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corps (including a tour of duty in Vietnam) then returning to civilian life as a musician in the bay area of Northern California, Jean decided it was time for a change and segued seamlessly into acting. Jean made his acting debut in the stage play Wait Until Dark with Actors Repertory Theater in San Jose, California in 1974. Jean also filmed his first television commercial in that same year. He has appeared in over 50 film, television, industrial, commercial, music video, and theatre productions. During his 40-plus years as an actor, Jean has worked in projects with Clint Eastwood, Cameron Mitchell, Russell Johnson, and many more. Throughout the years, Jean studied with a number of well-regarded acting teachers/coaches including Estelle Harman, Cliff Osmond, Virginia Capers (all three now deceased), and most recently with Steve Eastin, Tom Irwin, Mark Teschner, and Joseph Pearlman among others. He has been active as an actor, regardless of the medium, in every decade since he began. In 1981, Jean starred in Kill Squad, a movie that became a cult favorite and was re-released on Blu-ray to the delight of fans on December 20, 2019 (just in time for Christmas). Also in 2019 was his most recent television appearance on the CBS television series Seal Team, starring David Boreanaz and Max Theriot. Highlights of his theatre credits through the years include Theo in Lonne Elder III's play Ceremonies In Dark Old Men, Teddy in Mark Medoff's play When You Comin' Back, Red Ryder?, Paul Carrington in Jeff Stetson's play To Find A Man, Samuel Hollis, Sr. in Gerry Daly's play Scotch and Milk, and the Duke of Venice in Shakespeare's Othello, just to name a few. - IMDb Mini Biography By: Anonymous
